BE OUR GUEST – VINTAGE CROCKERY HIRE
TERMS OF BOOKING
We recommend that you collect your crockery in order to avoid delivery/collection charges.However, we do offer this service if you prefer. We charge £20 delivery and £20 collection within a 20-mile radius. Our hire period is for 3 days however, if you require longer than this, please ask. We are very accommodating!
Once you have placed your order we will send out a booking form for you to complete, listing our charges.
This should be carefully checked and returned to us.
Caring for the Crockery
We ask, please, that you clear all crockery and tablecloths of food debris/liquid before packing away and returning to us. You don’t have to worry about the washing up – we will take care of that for you once you return it.
(NB our items must not be put into a dishwasher).
We require a 20% deposit at the time of booking. This deposit will be returned in full if cancellations are made more than 90 days prior to the hire date.
The balance is to be paid 30 days prior to the hire date. When paying your balance we also require a cheque or cash for £100, which is for any damage which occurs to our crockery, tablecloths, etc. This cheque will not be cashed. Once we have checked our goods this cheque/cash will be returned. Damaged items will be charged as follows:
£5 for cups, saucers, teaplates (chipped, broken or missing)
£10 for milk jugs, sugar bowls, sandwich plates (chipped, broken or missing)
£25 for teapots, coffee pots, cake stands (chipped, broken or missing)
£25 for tablecloths (damaged or missing)
If the damage exceeds £100 the hirer agrees to pay the excess.
All our items are pre-loved and, as such, will show signs of this, e.g crazing to china, slight imperfections to tablecloths, etc. However, we feel that this just adds to the charm of our crockery and tableware.
We don’t guarantee that you will have matching items. We do have some matching sets for smaller groups, but bigger gatherings will be mis-matched. If you are wanting a particular colour scheme, e.g. for a boy baby shower, girl baby shower, gender reveal, please let us know and we will do our best to meet your needs.

We don’t have set packages as we appreciate that everyone’s needs are different.
Order as much or as little as you need. Changes can be made up until a week before the hire date.
